St. Mark serves as a focal point for both parishioners from across the city and the residents of the Evanston community.  We pray hard; we work hard; we play hard.  We minister to the hungry and sick in the community.  We learn the ways of the Lord from preaching, scripture, teaching, bible study and tradition.  We make disciples of all nations, but we need your help.  Come join us.

Sunday, 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Mass Celebration

Coffee and donuts are available after Mass for continued fellowship.   

Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. Weekday Mass Celebration

Weekday Mass is celebrated in the rectory chapel on Wednesdays and Fridays. 

Our Mission

St. Mark Catholic Church being primarily an African-American community, is empowered by the Holy Spirit and therefore committed to attending to the needs of all God's people, by witnessing to the Gospel mandate of Jesus Christ toward the fulfillment of God's Kingdom here on earth.
